1 Samuel 16:17-19

And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring [him] to me.

Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, [that is] cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD [is] with him. Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which [is] with the sheep.

 

Destinies are at the mercy of doors. The doors opened to you determine your movement, achievement and breakthroughs in life. 

1. David had so many fantastic qualifications. 

- A cunning (skillful) musician 

- A mighty valiant man 

- A man of war 

- Prudent in matters of business 

- A comely (common) person 

- The Lord with him

However with all these fantastic qualifications, he was in the wilderness with the sheep. This is what happens when doors are closed. 

When doors are closed, your beauty, intelligence, gift, grace etc are not seen. 

David was a palace material but he was trapped in the wilderness with sheep. 

Joseph too was in this position until he was divinely located. 

This is your own day to be supernaturally located. 

 

THE DAY DAVID'S DOORS OPENED

David's doors opened the day he was anointed. 

1 Samuel 16:13 (KJV) 

Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

Note that it wasn't just oil that came on David's head, the spirit of The Lord came upon him as well. It is not olive oil that opens doors; it is the spirit of The Lord!

When the spirit of The Lord came on Christ, all doors flung open.Everywhere he turned, doors opened and he prospered. You must befriend the Holy Ghost. He is the master key to open doors.

 

FIVE DOORS THAT MUST OPEN

Revelation 4:1 (KJV) 

After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

1. The Door of Revelation. 

I heard a voice like a trumpet telling me to come up higher...

No matter how high you are now, there is a higher place to go. 

Why did this voice have to come like a trumpet blast? Because there are many other voices speaking to your life to come down quickly. Your destiny will move in the direction of the voice you hear. Rev.1:10-12

When the door of revelation is opened to you, you will hear and you will see. You will know what to do about the crisis of life. There is no mountain anywhere; your mountain is your ignorance. If you don't know what to do about the challenges you face, you will feel like dying.

When doors are opened, it commands supernatural sight and divine hearing. 

When doors are locked, it becomes difficult to see and hear. Frustrations and stagnation in life are rooted in inability to see and hear. 

When you can see and hear, mountains move. Ex.15:22-25

 

2. The Prison Doors.

Gen.41:14-46

When the prison doors opened, Joseph moved from the prison to the palace and got married the same day.

When prison doors open, things happen fast. 

The reason why You say you can't get married, is because doors are shut. 

The girl Joseph married had always been there. She was waiting. But as long as Joseph was in prison, marriage was impossible.

I mean, who wants to marry a prisoner?

Genesis 41:14 (KJV) 

Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved [himself], and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.

Joseph was brought hastily out of the dungeon. 

 

PRAYER POINT

Can you pray that the mighty power of the Holy Ghost will bring you hastily out of every dungeon?

 

3. The Doors of Common Prison. 

Acts 5:18-19

And laid their hands on the apostles, and put them in the common prison. But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth...

Common prison are common experiences to the same people. All the apostles were put in the same prison. People in the same family can be put in one prison by satan; maybe the prison of diabetes or hypertension or delayed marriage or poverty or untimely death.

When you find people from the same;

- family

- locality

- village

- country

- parents 

Suffering from the same affliction, they have been put in a common prison. This is why the doors of common prison must open.

 

4. The Windows of Heaven. 

This is the 4th door that must open. When the windows of heaven are open, there is ventilation.

Malachi 3:10 (KJV) 

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].

When the windows and doors of heaven are opened to you, there is ventilation. You enjoy fresh air. All the chocking experiences of life will cease. Life will no longer choke you. 

When there is no fresh air, you are chocked. You feel uncomfortable, pressure, irritation...

FRESH IDEAS TOO!

When windows of heaven are opened , you see through; it makes room for fresh ideas. Ideas are the proof of ventilation. Open doors make for ventilation which fan your brain making for quick and productive  ideas. 

Money, financial prosperity and breakthrough in life are rooted in ideas. Poverty is rooted in absence of ideas. When you want your status to change economically and financially, go and locate ideas.

Ideas are the ladder that move men upward in the race of life.  

A destructive signal of closed doors is no access to ideas. 

Open doors give you access to undeniable, productive, resourceful ideas. 

Open doors destroy the choking experiences of life. 

 

5. Doors of Utterance. 

Colossians 4:3 (KJV)

Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

This door is for those who want to do God's business- soul winning. When you do God's business, he takes your own business as his priority. 

 

God can open the doors for you to reach your family members, colleagues, neighbors etc with the gospel. 

 

We need to pray for open doors of utterance. 

This is most important because the business of the King of Kings is urgent.

If you make soul winning your priority and pray for doors of utterance , your needs will be supernaturally met.

 

Furthermore, we need to pray for men of God everywhere, especially those who reach hundreds of thousands by air. The opening of the door of utterance will bring multitudes into the kingdom of God!
